Ingram Micro are delighted to announce a selection of the top industry names that will be presenting to resellers at the London’s film museum:

Carl West -  Business Group Director, GfK Retail and Technology UK
Carl has a background in software & hardware sales as a vendor and in distribution, he also brings with him a great understanding of channel distribution, Public Sector/Corporate channel and the internal dynamics of the retail and verticals reseller markets.

Simon Aldous - SMS&P & Distribution Director, Microsoft
Simon has over 17 years experience of working within the channel with vendor, service, distributor and reseller organisations. Simon joined Microsoft in 2006 from Computer 2000, where he was Product Marketing Director. Before this, he was with Toshiba Corporation for 5 years where he was responsible for computer distribution and VAR reseller channels in the UK.

Andy Brocklehurst - Cisco’s Regional Sales Manager for Small Business in the UK & Ireland
Andy has a wealth of experience working across different segments from large Multi-National blue chip customers to Small, Medium Size Businesses including nearly five years in distribution.  

Jeremy Davies CEO – Context
Jeremy Davies is co-founder of Context, the London-based European Market Research firm, which began operations in the UK in 1983. Context is a leading ICT market research company specialising in facts-based data and competitive analysis for business and consumer technology products.

 

Phylip Morgan, Managing Director, NBG
Highly motivated and enthusiastic Entrepreneur Phylip Morgan was co-founder of Business & Technology Company, Morgan & Morgan, in West Wales. The company started life as an office products company before diversifying into IT, Telecomms, Internet Services, Photocopiers & Furniture. In 2007 Phylip established Liguid Thinking, providing consultancy. More recently, Phylip has taken a role as Managing Director of NBG – The UK’s Premier IT Buying group for Resellers and Retailers. His role is to deliver the groups vision by 2012.

 

Mark Reynolds, Distribution Channel Manager, Toshiba Information Systems(UK) Ltd
Mark joined Toshiba in January 2005 and now has over 12 years IT Channel experience working in Sales Management for major UK Distributors and Vendors.

Mark is Toshiba’s Distribution Channel Manager responsible for the UK Distribution Team managing nine Distributors across all of Toshiba’s major product groups: PC, TV/DVD, External Storage and Digital Products & Services. In addition Mark is responsible for sales to the SMB, Independent Retail and Telecoms channels.

Away from the office, Mark played rugby for Richmond and also represented Middlesex, London Division and England U21’s. Mark is a keen guitarist/singer and has been known to jump on stage at Toshiba Channel events with his guitar to sing a few tunes!

Mark is happily married with four children, two boys and two girls, to whom he dedicates the large majority of his spare time.

 

Kevin Bailey, Senior Director, Global Market Analytics & Strategies, Symantec Corporation
With over 25 years of Infrastructure management experience from both an end user and hardware / software manufacturer, Kevin Bailey now heads up Symantec's Global Market Analytics and Strategies (GMAS) team providing Symantec customers and commercial partners with regional level, country specific market research and intelligence to help with fact based strategies and planning, whilst also ensuring that Industry Analytics and the Influencer community understand Symantec's vision, strategym products and technology

 

Clive Longbottom - Service Director, Business Process Analysis, Quocirca Ltd
Clive has been an ITC industry analyst for over 15 years. Working with a range of large and small analyst companies, including META Group (now Gartner) as VP Europe. Clive’s primary coverage area is business process facilitation, he also brings an understanding of how the collision of existing and emerging technologies requires full business involvement to decide on the best direction forward for an organisation’s current and future needs. Like all Quocirca analysts, Clive believes technology is never a solution in itself.

Rob Eatwell - Security Executive - McAfee
Rob has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, and has been with McAfee for nearly 15 years, undertaking a wide range of roles in security product management and customer advocacy. Currently Rob spends most of his time as a solutions architect, bridging the gap between the technology-led innovation of the McAfee product teams and the commercial and practical requirements of the customer.

Adam Harris - CEO - TCA
Adam Harris became CEO of the TCA in September 2009, building on a solid track record heading a successful IT reseller business. spearheading the associations continuing development both in its traditional areas and into new aspects of the Digital Technology arena.
Adam built a highly successful midlands-based technology reseller and several awards for his entrepreneurship, culminating in being announced as the midlands’ Young Directors of the Year 2008, by the Institute of Directors.
As well as the TCA, Adam also has other business interests which include Fresh Mindset, A Technology based consultancy company which bridges the gap between Business and Technology. A proclaimed 'Technologist' Adam is also a guest lecturer in Business and IT in several universities as well as being a regular contibutor to a number of publications as well as other media.
Adam is also a Director of www.airheads.biz, Crowd enhancement specialists for the TV, Film and Advertising world.

David McQuarrie - VP SMB & Consumer Business, Western Europe - Lenovo Group
David McQuarrie is Vice President for Lenovo’s Transactional Model in Western Europe. In this position he has P&L responsibility for sales via the Chanel to Consumers as well as Small & Medium Businesses. He is also responsible for Marketing and the Think & Idea Product Groups. Upon joining Lenovo in 2008, McQuarrie managed first the Notebook business for EMEA and then ran European Operations. In this role he was responsible for Lenovo’s EMEA operational leadership including product, strategy, planning and Business Model optimization functions.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Mr. McQuarrie was at Dell Inc, where in his last role he served as Director for Services Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific & Japan. In this role, he was responsible for the Services P&L, as well as Marketing and Professional & Managed Services across Asia Pacific & Japan.
Before joining Dell in 1998, Mr. McQuarrie worked in various sales and management capacities in the Australian distribution channel.
He is an Australian citizen based in Norway with his wife and three young children.
